Schulz Organic Dairy Full Cream Milk is now available in 1ltr glass bottles!

Schulz Organic Milk is natural and pure, with a rich layer of cream on top due to their choice not to homogenise the milk. The cream content in the milk changes with the seasons, cow lactation, and what the cows graze on. They raise both Friesians and Jerseys, which produce a milk rich in flavour; and have worked hard to create a just-right balance of beautiful texture and mouthfeel. Adopting the lowest legal pasteurisation temperature and time also retains the integrity of the milk’s natural flavour.

Q. WHY IS THERE A $2 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT CHARGE FOR THE GLASS BOTTLE?

Putting a value on the glass bottles incentivises consumers and retailers to return them, creating a circular economy is the only way to truly minimise waste. This way we can get as many uses out of each glass bottle. The purchase of each 1ltr Schulz Dairy Full Cream Glass Bottle will incur an additional $2 deposit, refundable upon return as per Schulz conditions of return (See below*).

This deposit may be added by you the customer or will be charged after checkout by Victorian Farmers Direct.

Q. HOW DO WE RETURN THE GLASS BOTTLES?

Please leave your empty, clean bottles out at the time your next delivery is due for our driver to collect. Please note only bottles that meet Schulz Organic Dairy's conditions of return can be collected by our drivers.

*Conditions of return:

• Lid, ring and collar removed (these can all be recycled)
• 100% fully cleaned with no milk residue in the bottle
• No chips, scratches, or damage
• Make sure it's really a Schulz bottle!

Once returned we will credit your card $2 per returned bottle.

Q. WHY DO I HAVE TO CLEAN THE GLASS BOTTLE?

If the glass milk bottles are not cleaned properly or at all and milk residue remains, this creates a food safety hazard for our business and the dirty bottles must be thrown out due to their contamination risk.

Schulz’s glass bottle system is designed to be a circular process for waste elimination (eliminating both recycling and landfill). All (clean) returned bottles that they receive are rewashed, sanitised and refilled inside their processing facility, if they accept dirty bottles back they run the risk of contaminating their entire plant. Therefore, we simply CANNOT accept dirty bottles or give the refund for bottles that don’t meet their return glass policy.
