All personal information you enter into our website and online grocery store is retained in the system of our third party e-commerce solution provider.  We only access your personal information when we login to their system through secure accounts.  Our third party e-commerce provider has strict information security controls and is PCI-DSS compliant.  Their security systems are audited on at least an annual basis.  All credit and other data is encrypted between your computer and our provider using 256 bit encryption.  Card details are never stored in or enter VFD’s systems or servers.  We limit access to their system to those of our people who have a need to know in order to:
  • process your order and provide customer service;
  • deliver your order;
  • promote our products and service eg. via our weekly newsletter.

  4.  Information that we collect may from time to time may be stored, processed in or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia.  The servers of our e-commerce provider are located in Australia however some of our other external providers have servers located in other countries including United States of America.

This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality and, de-identified where possible.
